Youth & Young Adult Education Program
Put on with partners NexStep Alliance, Goodwill, & WSUTech
The Youth and Young Adult (YYA) Education Program addresses the identified need to serve individuals from 16 to 20 years of age with justice involvement by providing the opportunity to earn a Kansas State High School Diploma and a college-level certification. This program was developed with education and supportive, wrap-around services tailored to the needs of youth and young adults. With over 15 community partners joining together, the YYA Education Program provides an opportunity for youth and young adults to engage in an empowering educational experience with comprehensive wrap-around services, including mentorship, counseling, basic needs, transportation, and life skills.
